Your Alor adventure begins with a warm welcome at Mali Airport or your hotel in Kalabahi, where our team will escort you to Neomi Cruise. As you step aboard, you will be welcomed in true Alor tradition with a traditional dance performance on board, setting the tone for an unforgettable journey through one of Indonesia’s most extraordinary diving destinations. After a relaxed boat orientation, introduction to our crew, and safety briefing, Neomi Cruise sets sail toward the first dive sites. Your diving adventure begins with a check dive at Tri-Top, allowing you to settle into the waters of Alor before exploring the fascinating Mucky Mosque, where unusual underwater landscapes and marine life offer an exciting introduction to the region.
Awaken to the spectacular scenery of Alor as we venture toward the islands of Ternate, Reta and Pura, where volcanic landscapes meet nutrient-rich waters. Today features four dives designed to showcase the diversity of Alor’s underwater world. Explore Monaseli / Yellow Corner, known for its dramatic scenery and vibrant marine life, before continuing to Babylon, a site that reveals another side of Alor’s underwater character. The journey continues at The Patch, offering opportunities to encounter an array of reef inhabitants, followed by Alor Slope, where sloping reefs and changing underwater terrain create an ideal setting for exploration. Between dives, relax on board and take in the spectacular island scenery surrounding you.
Today takes us deeper into the waters around Pantar and Pura Islands, with four dives offering a blend of dramatic reef formations, volcanic features and rich marine biodiversity. The first dive at The Holy Grail sets the stage for an exceptional day beneath the surface, followed by Hot Rock, where volcanic influences add a distinctive character to the dive. We then make our way to Nudi Beach, one of the highlights of the itinerary. With two dives at Nudi Beach, divers have more time to explore its fascinating underwater environment and search for the smaller, often overlooked creatures that make Alor such a rewarding destination for underwater photographers and marine-life enthusiasts.
The expedition continues around Alor Island, combining exciting diving with the opportunity to experience the raw beauty of the region. Our first dive takes us to Pak Yan’s Village, followed by Blue Corner, where changing conditions and nutrient-rich waters can create encounters with an impressive variety of marine life. After a relaxing surface interval on board, we continue to To the Slip, before finishing the day at Signal Point. With four dives throughout the day, there is plenty of time to immerse yourself in Alor’s underwater landscapes while enjoying the comfort and hospitality of Neomi Cruise between each adventure.
Our final full day begins with two morning dives around Pantar Island, visiting Monaseli and The Arch. These final dives provide one more opportunity to experience Alor’s exceptional underwater environment before we turn our attention to one of the region’s most memorable wildlife encounters: dugong watching. Depending on local conditions and wildlife behaviour, we will search for these gentle marine mammals in their natural habitat. Later, step ashore for a cultural experience at Takpala Traditional Village, where you can discover the traditions, architecture and way of life of one of Alor’s indigenous communities. It is a fitting final chapter to a journey that has combined world-class diving with authentic encounters above and below the surface.
After breakfast on board, it is time to say farewell to Neomi Cruise and the crew. Our team will assist with your disembarkation and transfer you to Mali Airport or your hotel in Kalabahi, marking the end of your Alor expedition. You leave not only with memories of extraordinary dives, but with a deeper connection to the islands, people and waters that make Alor truly special.
